Film major sounds really interesting to me!! I can't really choose much with my degree now, I don't really have a lot of electives left....well I guess I do have some left if I give up on one of the languages I'm doing I'm doing like 3 at the mo, Chinese, Classical Chinese and Korean. Why I'm doing this to myself is a mystery
Hope this semester will be a great one, no more Asian studies after this year sounds exciting

arts! history/film majors. It's fun, they're the subjects I am good at, without really needing to try.
I know, translations = way too much language work, and I was all for it first year, but then I got to second year japanese and died. a painful death. It was the constant assessment that did me in, so I doubled the degree so I was doing ONE line of japanese a semester, not two. Then I just was so not into going to japan for a year, and stretching my degree out to five years. Personally? I want to finish uni and be in a full time job BEFORE I'm 25.

I've got one more unit of japanese, and a bunch of asian studies units, but I'm doing a lot this semester and next semester, so hopefully I'll be done by next year. and then next year will just be arts related stuff.

so what's the other degree you're doing now??
hope you enjoy it more than the old one
can't say i'm too happy with it myself, but meh
but yays for almost finishing the asian studies bit!! XD

no way?? china!! that's pretty awesome. I think I was meant to be in Japan this year. Didn't happen because I was all '... I'm sick of this degree' and changed. Now I'm doing two degrees, but I'm mostly done with asian studies. *big grin*
